Driving while intoxicated:
Roderic Savikko, 43, was arrested for drunk driving after being found passed out in his vehicle on Ninth Street. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and the vehicle was impounded.
Douglas Drazkowski, 35, was arrested for drunk driving at 2:20 a.m. near the airport. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and his vehicle was impounded.
Sean Elliott, 32, was arrested for drunk driving at 3 a.m. Saturday near the Hillview Apartments. He was also charged with driving while his license was suspended, misuse of a controlled substance and failing to stop at the direction of a police officer. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
A 31-year-old man was arrested for assault at 9:45 p.m. on North Douglas Highway. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
A 36-year-old woman was arrested for domestic violence and resisting arrest on Tenth Street at 10 p.m. Friday. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
A 28-year-old woman was arrested for larceny and assault at 2:45 a.m. Saturday at the Auke Bay Ferry Terminal. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested for underage drinking at 6:50 a.m. Saturday near Gruening Park. He was taken and released to his mother.
A car driven by a 48-year-old man hit a pickup driven by a 45-year-old man on Egan Drive near the McNugget intersection at 4:20 p.m. The car had minor damage to the bumper.
A Jeep driven by a 49-year-old man hit a car driven by a 33-year-old woman on Capital Avenue and Calhoun Avenue at 6 p.m. The man was cited for careless driving.
A 22-year-old man accidentally put his vehicle into reverse and struck the vehicle behind him on Glacier Highway and Old Dairy Road at 6 p.m. Friday. The 27-year-old woman driving the vehicle behind struck her head on the windshield. She was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital and her car sustained $5,000 damage.
A 59-year-old woman driving an SUV pulled from Twelfth Street onto Egan Drive in front of a pickup truck driven by a 54-year-old man at 7 p.m., causing a two-car accident. She was cited for negligent driving.
A caller reported a bear has been getting into garbage on Fourth and Gold streets for two weeks, though the trash is secured. He was referred to Fish and Game.
A bear was sighted running through Glacier View Trailer Park at 9 p.m. Friday.
A bear was sighted walking down Upper Lawson Creek Road at midnight Saturday. The caller was referred to Fish and Game.
A bear was sighted walking down Raven Road at midnight Saturday. The caller was referred to Fish and Game.
A 36-year-old man was arrested for driving with a revoked or suspended license at 10 a.m. Friday in the Mendenhall Valley. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and the car was left parked on private property.
