Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a woman, 63, on a charge of failing to maintain a safe distance in traffic after an accident at 10:02 a.m. Thursday at Main and Third streets. The woman reportedly was driving a new Pontiac that struck a 2001 Jeep Cherokee driven by a woman, 54. Damage was estimated at $1,000 to the Jeep and $2,000 to the Pontiac.

• Police cited a woman, 19, on a charge of failing to maintain a safe distance in traffic after an accident at 10:45 a.m. Thursday on Egan Drive and Vanderbilt Hill Road. The woman reportedly was driving a 1991 Honda that struck a 2002 Honda driven by a woman, 48. Minor damage was reported to the older Honda.

Hit and run:

• At 1:41 p.m. Wednesday, a 2003 Oldsmobile was reported struck by an unknown vehicle in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

Traffic stop:

• Police impounded a vehicle at 9:58 a.m. Wednesday in the 2200 block of Trout Street near the airport after citing the driver, a boy, 16, on a charge of driving without a license.

Lost property:

• A bottle of prescription medication was reported lost at 9:01 a.m. in the Juneau area.
