Sound off on the important issues at

Driving while intoxicated:

• Gary Baker, 52, was arrested for drunken driving at 5:14 p.m. Thursday near Glacier Highway and the Travelodge. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• Juanita Coronell, 48, was arrested for drunken driving at 2:47 a.m. Sunday near outbound Egan and Channel Vista drives. She was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• Leroy Byron Rowan, 40, was arrested for drunken driving at 3:12 a.m. Sunday near outbound Egan and Hospital drives. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Vehicle accidents:

• A 2006 truck, driven by a 48-year-old man, struck a parked 1998 Mitsubishi in an accident reported at 12:08 p.m. Thursday near Foster Avenue.

• At 5:47 p.m. Thursday, a 20-year-old woman reported her 1984 BMW was struck by an unknown vehicle near Glacier Highway.

• A 23-year-old woman's 1999 Ford Escort sustained $2,500 damage in a two-vehicle accident near Shell Simmons Drive and Glacier Highway. A 50-year-old man was cited for failing to yield his bus at a stop sign.

• A 17-year-old boy was cited for negligent driving at 2 p.m. Friday near Mendenhall Loop Road and the Mendenhall River bridge after losing control of his 1997 Subaru.

• A 25-year-old bicyclist was struck by a vehicle in an accident reported at 5:44 p.m. Friday near Mendenhall Loop Road and Atlin Drive. The biker suffered a scrape to her arm.

• A 35-year-old man received four citations at 6:47 p.m. Friday near Loop and Mall roads after driving his yellow Volkswagen bug into a 18-year-old man's Eagle. The Eagle then struck a Ford truck.

• At 9:06 p.m. Friday, a 50-year-old reported he had hit a bear near the Egan Drive Tesoro with his 1994 green Ford. The vehicle sustained $750 in damage.

Fight:

• A 24-year-old non-Juneau resident was arrested for disorderly conduct at 1:48 a.m. Saturday near Front Street. The man was also arrested for criminal mischief at 1:19 a.m. Saturday near Seward Street and Sealaska after a 36-year-old man reported someone had broken the side-view mirror of his car. The man was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Vandalism:

• A pavilion near Savikko Park was reported spraypainted at 7:37 a.m. Friday.

• At 7:56 a.m. Friday, a report was received concerning restrooms and a concession stand near Mendenhall Loop Road which had been tagged with graffiti.

• A garden near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive was reported destroyed at 8:19 a.m. Saturday.

• A window was reported shot out at 10:33 a.m. near Hospital Drive at 10:33 a.m.

Theft:

• At 4:45 p.m. Thursday, a 57-year-old man reported his unlocked white 1994 Toyota Corolla was reported stolen near Glacier Highway. The vehicle was later recovered and turned over to the owner.

• A 31-year-old man reported a blue duffel bag was stolen at 5:45 p.m. Thursday near Mendenhall Mall Road.

• At 8:25 a.m. Friday, about $8,500 was reported stolen from a boat near Aurora Harbor.

• A 35-year-old Juneau man was cited for shoplifting at 2:34 p.m. Friday near West Willoughby Avenue.

• A gray Kona 26-inch mountain bike was reported stolen at 11:10 a.m. Saturday near Kanata Street. The bike was worth $350.

Found property:

• At 9:51 a.m. Friday, a silver vertical Shimano bike was reported found near Glacier Highway.

• At 11:39 a.m. Friday, a 50-year-old woman turned a blue Roadmaster bicycle in to police. She found it near Lee Smith Drive.

• At 12:38 p.m. Friday, $3 was found near Trout Street and turned in for safekeeping.

• At 12:47 p.m. Friday, a 52-year-old woman turned in a green mountain bike for safekeeping. She found it near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.

• At 8:39 p.m. Friday, a gray, digital HP433 camera was reported found a couple weeks ago near Glacier Highway.

• At 1:27 a.m. Saturday, a Nokia cell phone was turned in for safekeeping near Third Street.

Bear complaints:

• At 1:22 p.m. Friday, a bear was spotted near Point Lena Loop Road trying to enter a vehicle and get at garbage.

• A bear was spotted at 9:39 p.m. Friday near Gold and Fourth streets.
