Anderson to face Taug in Assembly race

JUNEAU - The race for the Juneau Assembly District 2 seat will see competition between incumbent Jonathan Anderson and challenger Karen Taug.

Taug turned in paperwork to the city clerk's office to become a certified candidate before a 4:30 p.m. deadline Monday.

Other races include incumbent Bob Doll and challenger Wade Bryson for the areawide Assembly seat.

Merrill Sanford, representing District 1, will run unopposed.

Three people will run for two Juneau School Board seats in the Oct. 7 municipal election.
