Police ID Anchorage officer in fatal accident

ANCHORAGE - Police have identified the Anchorage officer driving the patrol car that killed a pedestrian.
Police said Officer Matthew Bowen was responding to a nearby 911-hang up call Friday night when he struck 49-year-old Christopher Joseph.
Police are still investigating. Bowen was not using his emergency lights or siren at the time.
