Rock the Vote looking for musicians, political groups

Juneau musicians and political groups are invited to present at a Rock The Vote concert on Sept. 6 at the Juneau Arts & Culture Center.

Rock the Vote coordinates voter registration drives, get-out-the-vote events and voter education efforts with the intention of building political power for the nation's youth. Rock the Vote supports young people making changes in their communities, including standing up for diversity, tolerance and freedom of expression.

The event in Juneau is free and non-partisan. Musicians are invited to perform; political groups are invited to provide literature at information tables.
