Man arrested for alleged alcohol manufacturing

ANGOON - A village public safety officer arrested a 55-year-old man Wednesday for violating conditions of release for possessing alcohol in a dry community.
Edward G. Kookesh Sr. will also be charged with unlawful possession of alcohol in a dry community, according to the Alaska State Troopers.
Kookesh is awaiting trial on a charge of felony manufacturing of alcohol. His conditions of release were to not posses or consume alcohol.
Kookesh was taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center in Juneau.
