Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Assaults:

Police arrested a man at 9:09 p.m. Tuesday in the downtown area for domestic violence assault. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Thefts:

Police cited a man, 22, at 5:53 p.m. Tuesday near Commercial Boulevard for concealment of merchandise.

A man reported at 10:59 a.m. Tuesday near Glacier Avenue his wallet was stolen.

Burglary:

A man reported at 7:24 a.m. Tuesday near Glacier Highway someone entered his unlocked house and stole a gold nugget watch valued at $1,200.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

Police responded at 3:33 a.m. today near Glacier Highway to a report of a vandalized vehicle.

Vehicle accidents:

A warning was issued to a man, 34, at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday near Mendenhall Loop Road and Mall Road following a two-vehicle accident involving a red Subaru and a blue Jeep. The Jeep, driven by a man, 24, sustained $1,000 damage and the Subaru was totaled.

Animal encounters:

Bears were reported at 2:14 p.m. Tuesday near Churchill Way, 3:35 p.m. Tuesday near North Street, 3:46 p.m. Tuesday near North Street, 7:57 p.m. Tuesday near Churchill Court, 8:20 p.m. Tuesday near Glacier Highway, 8:29 p.m. Tuesday near Northwood Apartments, 9:36 p.m. Tuesday near Fifth Street in Douglas, 9:49 p.m. Tuesday near Switzer Village, 11:06 p.m. Tuesday near Glacier Highway, and 11:10 p.m. Tuesday near Glacier Avenue.

Alcohol-related calls: 1.

Crime Line

Juneau Crime Line Inc. is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for a theft July 19 near the Lemon Creek area. Several items were stolen from a vehicle including a $129 Rampage brand CD player and a $450 stainless steel Ruger .45-caliber semi-automatic handgun.
