Hit-and-run:

Sound off on the important issues at

• At about 6:45 p.m. Monday, a parked Chevrolet Ventura was reported struck by an unknown vehicle in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road, causing $2,000 in damage.

Theft:

• At about 12:50 p.m. Monday, a lime green Huffy boy's mountain bicycle was reported stolen on Mendenhall Mall Road.

• At 4:15 p.m. Monday, a black Schwinn Sting Ray chopper-style bicycle was reported stolen in the 2800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

• At about 8 p.m. Monday, a 2000 Jeep Cherokee was stolen and recovered on Crow Hill Drive with $1,000 in damage.

• At 9:15 p.m. Monday, a red and black Fuji man's bicycle was reported stolen in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road.

• At about 5:15 a.m. Tuesday, a 2001 Ford F-150 was stolen then recovered in the 4400 block of Taku Boulevard with $3,000 in damage. At the same address, a purse was reported stolen from a 2005 Subaru.

Vandalism:

• At about 11 a.m. Tuesday, police received a report of $2,000 in damage to landscaping on Mendenhall Loop Road.
