Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

• Charles Knowles, 63, was arrested for drunken driving at 7:17 p.m. Saturday near the 2.5-mile mark of outbound Egan Drive.


• A man, 24, was arrested for criminal trespass at 2:11 p.m. Saturday near South Franklin Street. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• At 2:13 p.m. Saturday, the owners of a black 2003 Volkswagen reported their vehicle was keyed sometime over the night, while parked in downtown Juneau. Paint damage was estimated at $1,500.

• A woman, 48, reported at 8:56 p.m. Saturday that someone burned a smiley face and profanity in her wooden fence, near Thunder Mountain Road. It caused $50 in damage.


• A man, 86, reported at 4:09 p.m. Saturday that the door on his vehicle was pried open, while the car was parked near Hermit Street. An $80 cell phone was stolen, and $200 in damage was done to the door.

• A woman, 31, reported at 4:50 p.m. Saturday that her $120 silver Motorola cell phone had been stolen near Amalga Street.

• A man, 25, reported at 4:47 a.m. Sunday that an Alpine CD car stereo was stolen from his unlocked Red Jeep Cherokee near James Boulevard.

Vehicle accidents:

• A man, 23, was cited for negligent driving at 12:58 a.m. Sunday near outbound Egan and Highland drives after driving his 1996 Volkswagen into a parked 1993 Chevrolet van. The Volkswagen was totaled, and the van sustained $1,000 in damage.


• A woman, 31, was placed under citizen's arrest for assault at 12:49 a.m. Sunday near North Street. She was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• A man, 26, was arrested for disorderly conduct and criminal trespass at 12:58 a.m. Sunday near Third Street. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
