Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Driving while intoxicated:

• Jay Stewart, 41, was arrested for drunken driving at 6:38 p.m. Monday near inbound Egan Drive and Main Street. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Vehicle accident:

• At 11:03 a.m. Tuesday, a 56-year-old man reported his Chevy Suburban was struck by an unknown vehicle sometime Monday night near Lemon Street. No damage estimate was available.


• A $600 motor home tire was reported slashed at 12:11 p.m. Monday near Ka-See-An Drive.

Found property:

• A red 21-speed bicycle was reported found at 4:23 p.m. Monday near Miner Court.


• A 1989 Dodge truck's $100 stereo system was reported stolen at 12:34 p.m. Monday near La Perouse Avenue.

• An assortment of tools were reported stolen from a vehicle at 1:34 p.m. Monday near North Douglas Highway.

• A red and black Roadmaster Street Rage bicycle was reported stolen at 3:09 p.m. Monday near Lee Smith Drive.

• Two 10-speed bikes and a shovel were reported stolen at 4:48 p.m. Monday near Cinema Drive.

• A 1996 Toyota's front license plate was reported stolen at 5:15 p.m. Monday near Shell Simmons Drive.

• An 18-year-old was arrested for vehicle theft and sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance at 8:16 a.m. Tuesday near Glacier Highway.

Lost property:

• About $1,800 in money orders and $200 in cash was reported stolen at 2:59 p.m. Monday somewhere in the Juneau area.

• At 10:38 a.m. Tuesday, a 42-year-old woman reported losing her brown suede Bilabong purse, containing a silver Audiovox cell phone, in the Juneau area.


• A 19-year-old man was arrested for interfering at 10:54 a.m. Tuesday in Cope Park. The man and another 19-year-old male were cited for minor consuming.
