Dirk Lovig, owner of Alaska Stone and Concrete, uses a bull float Tuesday as he finishes freshly poured concrete in front of Juneau-Douglas High School. The break in the rain Tuesday allowed the company to pour the concrete to complete sidewalk constructionon on Glacier Avenue in front of the school.
