-Assaults:

• At about 12:15 a.m. Sunday, a 43-year-old woman was arrested for assault in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive. She was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At about 1:50 a.m. Sunday, a 22-year-old man was arrested for assault in the 300 block of Irwin Street. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At about 3:35 a.m. Sunday, police received a report of an assault in the 9300 block of Glacier Highway. An investigation continues.

• At about 6 a.m. Sunday, police responded to a report of domestic violence between a 22-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man in the 4400 block of Mendenhall Boulevard. An investigation continues.

Burglary:

• At about 11:35 a.m. Sunday, a 47-year-old woman reported a digital camera and four fishing poles stolen from her residence sometime Aug. 14 in the 4800 block of Glacier Highway.

Sex crime:

• At about 10:40 p.m. Saturday, police began a confidential investigation into a report of a sexual assault in the Juneau area.

Thefts:

• At about 12:30 p.m. Saturday, a 39-year-old man reported a theft from a business in the 800 block of Front Street.

• At about 2:30 p.m. Saturday, a 26-year-old woman reported the theft of a package of clothing valued at $100 on Crowhill Drive.

• At about 11:30 a.m. Sunday, a theft was reported in the 2500 block of Scott Drive.

Trespassing:

• At about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, a 34-year-old man reported his vehicle had been rifled through in the 4400 block of Thane Road. Nothing was missing.

Vandalism:

• At about 8:50 p.m. Saturday, a 49-year-old man reported the rear window on his 1998 Dodge was broken in the 1000 block of Third Street.

Vehicle collisions:

• At about 8:35 p.m. Saturday, a 1996 Plymouth Neon struck a 1969 Volkswagen Bug on Glacier Highway Access Road. The Neon had $3,000 in damage and the Bug was totaled. The driver of the Neon, a 19-year-old woman, was cited for failure to yield.

• At about 12:50 a.m. Sunday, James Leon Newman Jr., 44, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after striking a fire hydrant, a sign, and then flipping his vehicle in the 8400 block of Thunder Mountain Road.

• At about 4:30 a.m. Sunday, Kurt Chamberlin, 51, was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 1000 block of Fish Creek Road. He was transported to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and his vehicle was impounded.
