Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Driving while Intoxicated:
Glenn Albert Stuart, 48, was arrested at 10 p.m. Friday near Hospital Drive for drunken driving. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Carlos Ernesto Garcia-Ramirez, 27, was arrested at 3 a.m. Saturday near Cinema Drive for drunken driving, He was lodged at state prison.
Robert Eison Sharclane, 27, was arrested at 12:45 a.m. Saturday near Hospital Drive for drunken driving and reckless endangerment. He was lodged at the state prison.
Thefts:
A boy, 17, was arrested Friday for vehicle theft and driving without a license. At 11:30 a.m. a man reported that his Ford SUV had been stolen. It was later recovered. The boy was lodged at Johnson Youth Center.
John Michael Vavalis, 20, and Trevor Brandon Prather, 19, were arrested at 4 p.m. Friday near Glacier Highway for felony theft in an alleged shoplifting incident. They were lodged at the state prison.
A woman at 5:30 p.m. Friday near Seventh Street reported the theft of her car stereo's faceplate.
A man reported at 6:45 p.m. Friday from Glacier Highway the theft of his disabled 1990 Ford Aero.
Vandalism and criminal mischief:
At 8:15 a.m. Friday near Willoughby Avenue a 1983 Honda Civic was reported to have a broken window.
A man reported at 6 a.m. Saturday from Stephen Richards Drive that audio tapes and some change and other items were taken from his unlocked vehicle.
Vehicle accidents:
A man, 71, reported at 5:15 p.m. Friday near Old Dairy Road that his vehicle suffered $2,500 damage from a boat propeller when a vehicle backed into his vehicle.
Animal encounters:
Bears were reported Friday at 8 a.m. near Dixon Street, 10:30 p.m. near Hospital Drive and Gastineau Avenue, 11 p.m. near Fourth Street, 11:20 p.m. near Willoughby Avenue getting into an unsecured Dumpster, 11:30 p.m. near Village Street, and 11:45 p.m. near Decoy Boulevard.
Other:
A man, 48, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. Friday near Marine Way for disorderly conduct. He was lodged at the state prison.
A boy, 15, was arrested at 6:20 a.m. Saturday near Renninger Drive on an outstanding Juneau troopers warrant for noncompliance with a court-ordered program. He was lodged at Johnson Youth Center.
