Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Gary Johnson, 46, on charges of drunken driving, assaulting a police officer and driving with his license revoked or canceled at 10:42 p.m. Monday on Thane Road. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.

Domestic dispute:

• Police arrested a man, 28, on charges of criminal mischief related to domestic violence and interfering with a report of domestic violence at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday in the Mendenhall Valley. They lodged the man at the state prison and additionally charged him with resisting arrest.

Assault:

• Police arrested a man on charges of assault and criminal trespass at 3:11 p.m. Monday near Front Street downtown. They lodged him at the state prison.

Theft:

• Police cited a man, 19, on a charge of larceny at 12:03 p.m. Monday near Glacier Highway.

• A mountain bike was reported stolen at 1:38 p.m. Monday near Thunder Street in the Valley.

• A tachometer was reported stolen from a 1991 Chevrolet truck at 1:57 p.m. Monday near Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area.

• A purse containing credit cards, a checkbook and miscellaneous papers was reported stolen at 7:41 p.m. Monday near Teal Street near the airport.

• At 10:03 p.m. Monday, a purse was reported to have been stolen Saturday night near Glacier Highway.

Vehicle rifling:

• At 10:27 a.m. Tuesday, a man reported his 1993 Toyota truck was rifled twice during the weekend near Trafalgar Avenue in the Valley.

Vandalism:

• A 1995 Mercury was reported vandalized at 6:02 a.m. Tuesday near Main and Fourth streets downtown.

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a man, 26, on a charge of failing to maintain a safe distance after an accident at 1:09 p.m. Monday at outbound Egan Drive and Vanderbilt Hill Road. The man was driving a 1997 Mazda pickup. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $800. The other vehicle involved, a 2000 Dodge pickup, driven by a woman, 32, sustained about $2,000 in damage.

• Police cited a man, 39, on charges of failing to yield and failing to carry proof of insurance after an accident reported at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday near Old Dairy Road. Damage to the 1988 Chevrolet pickup he was driving was estimated at $1,000. The other vehicle, a 1993 Honda Civic, driven by a man, 46, sustained an estimated $5,000 in damage.

• Police cited a boy, 17, on a charge of unsafe backing after an accident reported at 4:19 p.m. Monday on Mendenhall Loop Road. The boy was driving a 2003 Ford truck. The other vehicle involved, a 2001 Dodge truck, was driven by a man, 39.

Crime Line

Police are looking for a man who held up the manager of the Glacier Cinema at gunpoint at about 12:20 a.m. on Sept. 20, 2003.

The robber was described as 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build. He reportedly was dressed in dark clothing and was wearing a ski mask as he approached the theater manager as he walked to his car.

The manager said the man left the area and went into the woods with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Anyone with information about this crime is encouraged to contact the Juneau Police Department or Crime Line immediately.
