JUNEAU - Eaglecrest Ski Area posted an online survey Monday to gather information from Juneau residents on their use of the ski area.
Everyone is invited to take the survey and provide input. Its purpose is to gather information about the community's use of Eaglecrest and the services it provides, ski area management said in a statement.
Earlier this month, General Manager Kirk Duncan said the survey also will help managers decide how to price passes this season.
An adult season pass cost $349 last year and $299 during the 2006-07 season. Retaining last year's pricing, or even lowering it, are options, Duncan said. He said that while inflation will increase operating costs this year, management is concerned about keeping skiing affordable for Juneau residents.
The survey will be up until Sept. 8. Duncan estimated it takes about 15 minutes to complete. The ski area will give away prizes, such as airline miles and gift certificates to local stores, to eight people who complete the survey.
