ANCHORAGE - Officials said four people have survived a small plane crash in a wooded area near Eklutna.
Chugiak Volunteer Fire Department chief Bruce Bartley said the plane sustained "pretty significant damage" in the crash Monday evening.
KTUU-TV said the pilot and his three passengers were returning from Knik Glacier when the plane's engine lost power. Police in Anchorage said the four people suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the incident.
