Juneau police and fire reported:

Careless driving

• At 3:29 p.m. Monday, a 25-year-old man was cited for careless driving and failing to provide proof of insurance on Egan Drive inbound. He lost control of the vehicle he was driving, knocking down a street sign and causing approximately $2,000 damage to the car.

Driving without a license

• At 4:14 p.m. Monday, a 27-year-old man was cited and released for driving without a license on Atlin Drive. His vehicle was impounded.

• At 8:38 p.m. Monday, a 66-year-old man was cited for driving without a valid license in the 8300 block of Old Dairy Road. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

• At 4:56 a.m. Tuesday, a 23-year-old man was cited for driving without a license on Glacier Highway. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Theft

• At 2:17 p.m. Monday, a 54-year-old woman reported the theft of earrings in the 100 block of Franklin Street. The earrings are valued at $5,798.

Trespass

• At 4:59 p.m. Monday, a 40-year-old man was arrested for criminal trespass in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue. He was taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
