Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

Cory Bryant, 24, was arrested for drunken driving at 12:25 a.m. Sunday near Williams Road. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Anthony Tengs, 47, was arrested for drunken driving at 1:47 a.m. Sunday near Sheep Creek and Thane Road. He was lodged at the state prison and his vehicle was impounded.

Adam Lee, 22, was arrested for drunken driving at 2:45 a.m. near James Boulevard. He was lodged at the state prison.


Police responded to a report at 4:21 p.m. Saturday near Salmon Creek Dam trailhead that the passenger side window of a Ford Explorer was broken and a wallet was stolen from the vehicle.

A boy, 13, reported at 7:41 p.m. Saturday near James Boulevard that his black Magna Pro bike was stolen.

Police responded to a report at 9:15 p.m. Sunday that a Dodge Caravan in the parking lot of Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School had a window broken and a purse containing two pairs of glasses, a wallet and credit cards was stolen.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

A woman reported at 8:07 a.m. Saturday near Hayes Way the rear window of her Mazda RX7 was shattered.

A man reported at 5:14 p.m. near Sandy Beach on Douglas the length of his vehicle, a green Chevy Impala which was parked in a handicapped spot, had been scratched on the passenger side.

Underage drinking:

Police cited a boy, 15, for underage drinking at 1:26 a.m. Sunday near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive. He was released to his mother.

Vehicle accidents:

Police cited a woman for speeding at 9:42 p.m. Saturday near Glacier Avenue and the Federal Building after she ran into an electrical box. The woman's car sustained $3,000 in damages.

A man, 20 , was cited for careless driving at 4:20 p.m. Sunday near Glacier Highway following a two-vehicle accident. The man, driving a Chevrolet pickup truck made a U-turn and was struck from behind, incurring no damage, by a Ford Escort driven by a woman, 19, whose car sustained $1,000 in damage.

Hit-and-run incidents:

A man reported at 4:18 p.m. Saturday $200-300 damage to the front left hood and headlight on a Ford Escort station wagon parked overnight near Glacier Highway.

Animal encounters:

Bears were reported Saturday at 7:55 a.m. near Teal Court, 8:26 a.m. near Teal Court, 9:43 a.m. near Montgomery Street, 10:54 a.m. near Churchill Trailer Court, 12:23 p.m. near South Franklin Street, 12:31 p.m. near Glacier Spur Road, 2:52 p.m. near Churchill Court, 3:55 p.m. near Churchill Court, 4:17 p.m. near Churchill Court, 4:57 p.m. Churchill Way, 5:24 p.m. Glacier Way, 6 p.m. near Glacier Highway, Lemon Creek, 7:22 p.m. near Churchill Way, 7:31 p.m. near Churchill Way, and 10:47 p.m. Old Lawson Creek Road.

Bears were reported Sunday at 3 a.m. near South Franklin Street and Armadillo, 2:13 p.m. near Lemon Creek Road, 7:56 p.m. near Mountain Avenue, 9:51 p.m. near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive p.m. Sunset Street.

Bears were reported Monday at 3:55 a.m. near Churchill Way.
