JUNEAU - Law enforcement agencies seek the public's help in locating two recently released convicts who are charged with violating conditions of their parole.

Alexey Stepetin, 28, was released from Lemon Creek Correctional Center in early July after being convicted of sexually abusing a minor. Police said he's considered a "high risk sex offender and is a danger to juveniles."

His last known address was 5950 N. Douglas Hwy.

John Chester "JC" White, 35, was released from prison on June 7. He was convicted in 1991 and 1999 for attempted sexual assault. Police said White also is wanted on a charge of failing to comply with his sex offender registration requirements.

White's last known address was 520 Sixth St.

Anyone with information regarding the men's whereabouts is asked to call the Alaska State Troopers at 465-4000 or the Juneau Police Department at 586-0600.
