ANCHORAGE - The biggest abortion provider in Alaska, Planned Parenthood, has created a website to help teens meet the requirements of the ballot measure approved in Tuesday's election.
The Anchorage Daily News reports the law to take effect this fall requires parents to be notified before their teen receives an abortion. Teens can bypass notification with approval from a judge or by submitting notarized statements about abuse in the home.
Planned Parenthood says it will work with courts, counselors and health care providers to make sure teens can still get abortions in Alaska without delay.
