Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Driving while intoxicated:
Raymond Hurley, 52, was arrested for drunken driving at 11:16 p.m. Monday near National Park Road. Hurley was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Thefts:
A man reported at 9:03 a.m. Monday near Augustus Brown Way the wooden sign to the Augustus Brown Swimming pool had been stolen on an unknown date. The sign is valued at $1,000.
Vandalism and criminal mischief:
A woman reported at 8:21 a.m. Monday near Egan Drive a broken window at a business. Police would not release the name of the business, but it appeared a beer bottle had been thrown through one of the windows. The estimated damage is $1,000.
Underage drinking:
Police cited a man, 19, and another man, 17, for underage drinking at 8:54 p.m. Monday near Glacier Highway.
Police cited a woman, 19, for underage drinking at 2:08 a.m. today near Ferry Way and Marine Way.
Animal encounters:
Bears were reported Monday at 12:25 p.m. near Gruening Park, 1:15 p.m. near Glacier Highway, 2:43 p.m. near Glacier Highway, 3:28 p.m. near Northwood Drive and 9:06 p.m. near Mill Street.
Bears were reported Tuesday at 2:50 a.m. near Lemon Creek Road, 3:41 a.m. near Mendenhall Mall and 6:49 a.m. near Hughes Way.
Other:
Two males, both 46, were cited at 6:21 p.m. Monday near Pocket Park for having open containers of alcohol.
Police cited a man, 21, and another man, 39, for disorderly conduct at 1:02 a.m. today near Shattuck Way.
