Animal complaint:

Sound off on the important issues at

• At about 11:15 p.m. Monday, a bear was reported in the 5400 block of Tamarack Court.


• At about 4:50 p.m. Monday, police received a report that a white and blue Kaui beach cruiser was stolen a month ago on Gold Street.

• At about 4:50 p.m. Monday, a blue 21-inch Raleigh commuter bicycle was reported stolen in the 200 block of Franklin Street.

• At about 9:40 p.m. Monday, a 32-year-old man was cited and released on a charge of concealment of merchandise in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard. Alcohol was involved.

Traffic accident:

• At about 2:50 p.m. Monday, a red truck struck a house in the 1900 block of Lemon Creek Road. A damage estimate was unavailable.

• At about 2:15 a.m. Tuesday, a 1987 Jeep Cherokee, operated by a 19-year-old man, crashed and was totaled on Glacier Highway. The Cherokee had two passengers. The driver and a 17-year-old girl were released at the scene. A 16-year-old girl was treated for injuries.
