Crystal Marie Fields and Adam Paul Turner will marry on Oct. 18, 2008, in Anchorage, at 6 p.m. at the Tanglewood Lake Club House. A dear friend of the couple, Will Robinson, will officiate. Reception will follow in the same location.
The bride is the daughter of the late Edward Carle, of Craig, and Barbara L. Fields, of Anchorage. She graduated from Craig High School and raised her sons in Juneau, while working for the state of Alaska. She moved to Anchorage five years ago while working for the Department of Labor and has since taken a job at Adam's and Associates.
The groom is the son of Craig and Mary Turner, of Anchorage. He graduated from Lake Washington High School, in Kirkland, Wash., and moved to Anchorage in 2001. He is a heavy equipment mechanic and works for DMO in Prudhoe Bay.
The bridesmaids are Jill Smith, Marcie Pungowiyi, Kris Grundhauser and Shawna Nickel. The groomsmen are Asa Turner, Ryan Leary, Jon Aune and Sam Byers. The flower girl will be Olivia Leary and the ring bearer will be Ulap Pungowiyi.
The couple became friends five years ago and just started dating a year ago. They said they both have a strong faith in God and know in their hearts his plan for them is to walk together through life side by side. They will make their home in Anchorage.
