JUNEAU - KTOO, on 104.3 FM, will be airing "Letters from the North," a showcase of Alaska writers, storytellers and poets, at 3-4 p.m. Sept. 3 and 7-8 p.m. Sept. 4. This time, writers explore the topic of home.
Local author and professor Ernestine Hayes will read from her award winning memoir, "Blonde Indian." Local playwright and world traveler Eric Boraas will discuss the pros and cons of staying put. Commercial fisherman and Zen meditation teacher Kurt Hoelting will talk about his year-long experiment in response to climate change and Jonas Lamb will explore his roots through music.
