The Juneau Community Garden Association will host its 10th annual Harvest Fair from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31. The fair, which will be judged by local master gardeners, is an opportunity for gardeners to show off their wares and to celebrate the end of the growing season. Cut flowers will be available, as well as hot dogs, baked beans and desserts. Activities for children include face-painting and bobbing for apples.
Along with the fair, a farmers' market will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Garden produce and cut flowers will be available for purchase, with the proceeds benefiting the Juneau Community Garden Association. All are welcome to attend; contact Linda Mosher, 586-2546, for details.
