Larry Mathew Owen and Angela Elizabeth Rorem, both of Juneau, will be married in a ceremony at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002, at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church. Pastor Larry Rorem, father of the bride, will officiate the ceremony. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony in the church fellowship hall. Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Laura and Larry Rorem. She is a 1994 graduate of JDHS, attended the University of Oslo, Norway, and graduated from the University of Alaska Southeast. She works at the Alaska State Library.
The groom-elect is the son of Suzanne Dickerson of Tacoma, Wash., and Larry James Owen of Rushbille, Ill. He is a graduate of Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma, and received his BA and MA in civil engineering from the University of Washington. He works as a bridge engineer for the state of Alaska.
The matron of honor will be Nadine Marx. Tori Rorem will be the flower girl.
The best man will be Randy Johnston. Douglas Rorem will be the ring bearer. The ushers will be Mark and Matt Rorem.
The couple will honeymoon on Kauai, Hawaii, and make their home in Juneau.
