Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Theft:

• At 12:10 p.m. Monday, $220 was reported taken from a purse near Cinema Drive.

Vehicle accidents:

• A 2005 Toyota van was struck while parked in an incident reported at 3:07 p.m. Monday near Glacier Highway. Damage was estimated at $2,000.

• A 17-year-old boy was cited for careless driving at 4:25 p.m. Monday near Egan Drive and the Douglas Bridge after a three-car accident with his 1991 Chevrolet (totaled), a 2004 Chevrolet ($2,000 in damage) and a 1991 Mitsubishi (totaled). The three passengers in the 1991 Mitsubishi were taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

Animal incidents:

• At 11:31 p.m. Monday, a 26-year-old woman reported she had struck and killed a bear on Glacier Highway with her 1993 Subaru station wagon. The car sustained $2,500 in damage.

• At 6:52 a.m. Tuesday, an 86-year-old man reported he had struck a deer near Glacier Highway and Lena Loop Road with his 2006 Subaru. The deer left the area, and the vehicle suffered minor damage.

Vandalism:

• A silver and black titanium bicycle, worth $800, was reported vandalized at 3:45 p.m. Monday near West Ninth Street.

Found property:

• At 8:16 p.m. Monday, a 52-year-old woman reported finding a blue 21-speed Schwinn adult High Timber 2.6 bicycle near Threadneedle Street. The bike had a blue, purple and white Mozo sticker and 26-inch tires.
