Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at


• At 3:39 p.m. Tuesday, a 54-year-old man reported a blue Pacific Cachet bike was stolen Saturday night near C Street.

• At 4:50 p.m. Tuesday, a 27-year-old man reported an 800-watt Eclipse amplifier, worth $600, had been stolen from inside a vehicle parked near Teal Street.

• At 7:21 p.m. Tuesday, police received a report of a stolen white 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The vehicle was later recovered.

• A 20-year-old man was arrested at 12:32 p.m. Wednesday near Third Street in Douglas for criminal trespassing. He also was cited for minor consuming and lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• A green jacket and keys were reported stolen at 8:12 a.m. Wednesday near West Willoughby Avenue. The jacket was worth $475.

• At 11:07 a.m. Wednesday, a change jar was reported stolen from a home near Thane Road. An estimated $50 in coins was pilfered.

Minor consuming:

• A 16-year-old boy was cited for minor consuming at 2:53 a.m. Wednesday near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek.

• Two 19-year-old men and an 18-year-old girl were cited for minor consuming at 3:05 a.m. Wednesday near Renninger Drive in Lemon Creek.

Found property:

• A backpack, with paperwork belonging to a 37-year-old man and a 44-year-old man, was found near Crow Hill Drive and turned in for safekeeping at 3:03 a.m. Wednesday.

Bear complaint:

• Bears were reported Tuesday at 3:17 p.m. near Arctic Circle, at 9:01 p.m. near Fred Meyer, at 10:12 p.m. near West Eighth Street, at 11:44 p.m. near Tongass Boulevard; and Wednesday at 1:20 a.m. near Calhoun Avenue., 7:01 a.m. near Churchill Way in Lemon Creek, and 7:37 a.m. near Seventh Street.
