Tired of smears

Notice the last-minute advertising smear campaign in the Empire aimed at Stephanie Madsen?

It came from some group calling itself "Concerned Western Alaskans" and seemed to be perpetrated by someone from the Karl Rove school of campaign management, i.e., lie, say anything negative you can, fill it with innuendo with no time for rebuttal. Anything to get elected.

Look what that sort of campaigning has given us nationally: record deficits, international isolation and disrespect, tax cuts for the wealthy, an unplanned and un-thought-out war.

I'm tired of that kind of politics. That's why I'm voting for Andrea Doll for state Legislature.
