Walk-in public target shooting begins Sept. 2

JUNEAU - The Juneau Hunter Education Facility is getting ready to resume public shooting.

Walk-in public target shooting, which can make a family outing and recreational activity, will begin Tuesday, Sept. 2.

Public shooting hours also have changed to provide more opportunities and convenience for the community. The days and hours of operations are 1-6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays and 5-8 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays.

The facility is located at 5670 Montana Creek Road, next to the Juneau Gun Club.
