ck Flory walks his dog, Milo, on Tuesday along the Airport Dike Trail. Airport officials placed orange fencing along the top of the dike where the Mendenhall River is undercutting the riverbank due to melting by the Mendenhall Glacier. Trail users are urged to keep themselves and their pets within the fenced area until the riverbank is stabilized. Further erosion may force closure of the trail for safety.
