Tuluksak man charged with assault

TULUKSAK- Alaska State Troopers say a 32-year-old Tuluksak man was arrested over the weekend on assault and weapons misconduct charges.

Troopers say Nelson Napoka drank alcohol Saturday, became intoxicated and pointed a high-powered rifle at people during a fight.

Tuluksak police seized the rifle.

Tuluksak is a village of 471 people about 35 miles northeast of Bethel.
