Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

Jessica Ann Herman-Haywood, 17, was arrested for drunk driving and three counts of reckless endangerment at 1:45 a.m. Saturday on Egan Drive near Vanderbilt Drive. She was released to her father.

Michael Murphy, 43, was arrested for drunk driving and having a blood alcohol level over 0.1 percent at 12:30 a.m. Friday. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and the vehicle was impounded.

Assaults:

A 38-year-old woman was arrested for assault at 6 p.m. Friday on South Franklin Street. She was take to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

A 23-year-old woman was arrested for domestic violence at 7:30 p.m. Friday on Churchill Way. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

A 21-year-old woman was arrested for domestic violence at 12:40 a.m. Saturday on Foster Avenue. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Hit-and-run incidents:

A vehicle was hit at about 2 p.m. Thursday while parked in a parking lot on Glacier Highway.

Animal encounters:

An officer saw a bear crossing the road near Mendenhall River School at 7:45 a.m. Friday.

A bear was playing with garbage cans in the woods near Lemon Creek Road at 8 a.m. Friday.

A caller reported an ongoing problem with bears getting into garbage around Creek Street in Douglas. He was referred to Fish and Game.

A bear was seen around a home on Auke Nu Drive at 4:30 p.m. Friday.

A bear was seen on Lupine Lane at 8 p.m. Friday.

A bear was seen taking a nap in the middle of the road near Taku and Ptarmigan streets at 9 p.m. Friday.

A bear was seen walking through a yard on Riverside Drive at 9:15 p.m. Friday.

A bear was seen in a trash bin on Douglas Highway at 9:45 p.m. Friday.

A bear was in someone's backyard at Brittany Place in Lemon Creek at 10:30 p.m. Friday.

A bear was seen in a trash bin on Glendale Street at 11 p.m. Friday.

A bear was seen near some garbage on Second Street in Douglas at 1:45 a.m. Saturday.

A bear was seen eating garbage from a trash bin on Second Street in Douglas at 4 a.m. Saturday.

A bear was seen getting into garbage on Julep Street at 5:15 a.m. Saturday.

A bear was seen eating in the trailer park on Stephen Richards Memorial Drive at 6 a.m. Saturday.

A bear took a garbage can at Lemon Creek Manor at 6 a.m. Saturday. The report was forwarded to the litter officer.

A bear was seen getting into garbage on Glacier Highway and Fritz Cove Road at 7 a.m. Saturday.

Other:

A 52-year-old woman was cited for driving while her license was revoked at 10:50 a.m. Friday on Vintage Boulevard.

A 18-year-old man was cited and released for driving without a license at 1 a.m. Saturday on Loop Road and Grant Street. He was also given a verbal warning for possessing tobacco.
