Shee Atika Inc. CEO steps down

Shee Atika Inc., a corporation organized under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act for Natives historically residing in Sitka, announced that Robert Loiselle will be stepping down as president and chief executive officer.

Loiselle has served in this capacity since 1999.

"We have been very fortunate to have Bob as our chief executive for these several years, and we very much regret his leaving," said Marion Williams Berry, chairman of Shee Atika's board. "Replacing Bob will be very difficult and we appreciate Bob's willingness to remain with us for a smooth transition.

"We will be looking for someone with extensive business, real estate, financial and investment experience, and with a record of success in corporate leadership," Berry added.

Advertising of Shee Atika's CEO position will begin shortly, and the recruiting and screening process will take place over the next few months. Shee Atika's tentative plan is to have a new CEO in place by May 1, so the new CEO can be introduced to Shee Atika shareholders during the spring shareholder information meetings that precede the 2006 annual meeting.

Those interested should send a resume to Sandra Allen, Alaska Executive Search, 821 N St., Suite 204, Anchorage, AK 99501-6093. Resumes must be received by Nov. 30 to be considered. For further information, call Berry at 463-2662.
