Winnen graduates from Portland State

Jesse Winnen, the son of Jack Winnen and Sandy Metcalfe of Juneau, graduated in June from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in architecture.

He accepted a position with Yost Grube Hall Architecture in Portland, Ore.

Clough makes dean's list at Berklee College

Juneau resident Megan Clough made the dean's list for the fall and spring semesters of the 2004-2005 academic year at Berklee College of Music.

She is the daughter of Lisa Rollin and Mike McKrill and John and Marian Clough.

She is a 2003 graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School.

Cook graduates, plans to teach in Honduras

Alice Cook, a Ketchikan High School alumna, graduated from the University of Puget Sound on Aug. 15. Cook received a bachelor's degree in English literature and a master's degree in teaching.

Cook is the daughter of Michael and Debbie Cook, formerly of Juneau. She plans to teach high school math for two years at Discovery School, an international school in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
