KETCHIKAN - Alaska State Troopers have recovered the bodies and released the names of two men killed late last week in a helicopter crash.

They are David Zampino, 38, of Fairbanks and Leonard Zubkoff, 45, of Crystal Bay, Nev.

The helicopter went down in Winstanley Lake in the Misty Fjords National Monument Wilderness, about 30 miles east of Ketchikan. It's not known if the chopper went down Wednesday or Thursday, Alaska State Troopers said.

The Roberts 44 Rotocraft, was discovered Thursday afternoon upside down in the lake.

Zubkoff and Zampino were the only two aboard the helicopter. Troopers recovered the bodies Sunday.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
