Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

• Donna L. Galvan, 48, was arrested for drunken driving at 5:04 p.m. Wednesday near Industrial Boulevard. She was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• Angela Maria Howard, 46, was arrested for drunken driving at 1 a.m. Thursday near outbound Egan Drive and Norway Point. She was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center and her vehicle was impounded.

Vehicle accidents:

• A man, 26, was cited at 12:06 p.m. Wednesday near Glacier Highway and Hospital Drive for careless driving and failure to carry proof of insurance. He was driving a Toyota pickup, when he caused an accident with a 2002 Toyota. His car sustained $1,500 in damage, and the Toyota sustained $5,000.

• A woman, 28, reported at 2:16 p.m. Wednesday that her parked 2002 Chevy Silverado was struck by another vehicle near Glacier Highway. Her vehicle sustained $1,700 in damage.

• A woman, 30, reported at 9:45 a.m. Thursday that she struck a deer near outbound Egan Drive and Fred Meyer. The accident caused $150 in damage to her 1992 Ford Bronco.


• A woman, 58, reported at 5:27 p.m. Wednesday that her white 200 Chevrolet Blazer was vandalized while it was parked downtown. The damage appeared to be worth more than $1,000.

• A construction worker reported at 8:39 a.m. Thursday that someone wrote in undried cement near Gold Creek Bridge and 12th Street.


• A woman, 50, reported at 10:23 a.m. Thursday that an orange bicycle, worth $50, was stolen sometime Wednesday afternoon near Mendenhall Loop Road.

Bear complaint:

• A non-aggressive bear was seen walking around Haffner Court at 5:06 a.m. Thursday.


• A woman, 69, reported an attempted burglary at 8:03 a.m. Thursday near Industrial Boulevard.

Lost property:

• A woman, 20, reported at 2:26 p.m. Wednesday near Cinema Drive that she lost a pair of earrings worth $300. They were gold metal in the shape of a star, with a single green stone in the center and a clear-stone outline.

• A man, 33, reported at 8:24 a.m. Thursday that he lost a white gold wedding band somewhere downtown over the weekend.

Disorderly conduct:

• A man, 42, was cited for disorderly conduct at 4:29 p.m. Wednesday near Whittier Street.

• A man, 21, was cited for disorderly conduct at 10:18 p.m. Wednesday near Trout Street after allegedly urinating in public.
