Theft:

Sound off on the important issues at

• A 54-year-old woman reported her front license plate stolen from her Dodge Dakota in the 13400 block of Glacier Highway.

Traffic accidents:

• A 78-year-old man driving a 2007 Toyota struck a 2002 Jeep driven by a 48-year-old woman at 2:44 p.m. on Jordan Avenue. The Jeep sustained $500 damage and the Toyota sustained $2000. No injuries were reported.

• A 2005 Subaru sustained $750 damage in a hit and run incident at 8:17 p.m. on Vintage Boulevard.

Traffic violations:

• A 19-year-old woman was cited and released for driving without a license at 8:52 p.m. on Mendenhall Loop Road. The car she was driving was impounded.

• A 22-year-old woman was cited and released for driving with a suspended license at 10:13 p.m. on Egan Drive. The car was impounded.

Animal complaints:

• At 10:13 p.m., a man reported two bears fighting in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 10:50 and 11:09 p.m., a sow and two cubs were reported eating garbage from a dumpster in the 11800 block of Glacier Highway.

• A bear was reported getting into garbage at 2:24 a.m. in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

Disorderly conduct:

• A 31-year-old man was arrested for assault at 2:47 a.m. and transported to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Other:

• A 28-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant at 10 a.m. in the 6000 block of Gull Way.

• A man reported finding a 10-speed bike on Kiowa drive.
