ANCHORAGE - A motorcyclist was seriously hurt after colliding with another motorcyclist near the interchange of the Glenn and Parks highways.
Alaska State Troopers said 26-year-old Christopher Squires of Anchorage was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the accident early Monday morning.
Troopers said the other motorcyclist, 24-year-old David Roemer of Anchorage, was cited on a charge of not having a valid endorsement on his license.
According to troopers, Roemer was rounding a curve when he tried to slow down and slid toward a guardrail. His bike slid out from beneath him.
The motorcycle driven by Squires was close behind Roemer and struck his motorcycle.
Troopers said both men were wearing helmets.
