Parnell to address Alaska energy future

ANCHORAGE - Alaska Gov. Sean Parnell will discuss the future of energy in Alaska during two appearances on Thursday.
Parnell will deliver the address "Alaska's Energy Future - The Next 50 Years" at the Resource Development Council's breakfast meeting at 7:30 a.m. at the Dena'ina Civic and Convention Center.
He also plans to discuss efforts to open the outer continental shelf to exploration and drilling during a news conference. That's scheduled for 11 a.m. at his Anchorage office.
