Passengers aboard the tour boat St. Phillip watch as a pod of humpback whales bubble-net feed Sunday in North Pass, about six miles west of the Shrine of St. Terese. Alaska humpbacks will soon start their annual migration to three primary locations in the southern latitudes of the North Pacific. Most will go to the Hawaiian Islands, with the rest going to the coast of Baja Mexico and waters southeast of Japan.
