Outraged about anti-semetic graffiti

Letter to the editor

I am writing in response to the article, "Graffiti outrages Jewish community," dated Aug. 30. I was also outraged and mad that we still have this kind of negative behavior. As a community, I ask for cooperation and unity to try to find the perpetrator or perpetrators of such a hate crime. This should not be allowed, and it should be penalized.

Sound off on the important issues at

I am a Christian, but I respect the Jewish religion because they are the authors of our Bible. They are the sons of Abraham and the children of God, too. We should respect all religions and teach our children to respect them, too.

We live in the safest city in the world, and we should keep it like this forever.

Let us pray together, so that we can stop this hate crime from continuing. I feel saddened and hope that the Juneau community does not stay quiet and helps solve this crime. When we stay quiet, we are also committing a crime. So, let us unite as we have always done in solving problems. God bless America and the Jewish community. Shalom.
