In response to the Aug. 27 headline, "Palin addresses Juneau jitters on capital move," I would like to voice an opinion.
Sound off on the important issues at
I am not comfortable with her comments that she would leave this issue up to the Legislature. Personally, I am sure that, if elected, a capital move would be on Palin's agenda.
For this and many other reasons, I am supporting former Gov. Tony Knowles.
The State of Alaska has numerous important items and issues to deal with in the coming years. Hopefully a capital move will not be among these issues, but should it be raised, I know that Knowles is against it and would veto any legislative bill supporting a capital move.
