...for help with the benefit
Thanks to our wonderful community and its members, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Juneau Inc. had an awesome salmon sake senefit dinner. We would like to publicly thank everyone who made our annual dinner and auction a success.
Heartfelt thanks go to Jeff Keyes, John Vallejo and everyone at Alaska Travel Adventures for sharing the Gold Creek Salmon Bake with us; without them there would not be a benefit dinner. We're also very grateful to the folks at KINY/KSUP radio for providing our on-air support in letting the community know about the event. And to the following individuals and business: Ron Lance at United Airlines, Alaska Discovery, Goldbelt Corporation, World Explorer Cruises, Northstar Trekking, Princess Cruises, Auk To Shaa Discovery, Fire & Ice Alaskan Gold & Platinum Design, Gene Chilton and Jessie Crites we appreciate your donations to our auction. Chan's Thai Kitchen, Pizza Hut, Jillian Clark, Hearthside Books, Canton House, Rainbow Foods, the Rie Munoz Gallery and Pavitt Chiropractic provided door prizes. Thanks to all of you.
We had a delicious array of desserts to auction - thanks and hats off to our chefs: Becky Iverson, Llewellyn Lutchansky, Dean Heard, Jim Powell, Natalie Mendenhall, Buzz at Paradise Lunch & Bakery, Karen Lechner, Nancy Barto, Kelly McMeen, Martha Murray, Karl Ohls, Kim Shea, Carol Scafturon, Peggy Hunnings, Amanda Nazer, Annete Highly, Kristin Whitehead, Kelly White, Nancy Eiler, Diane White, Cathy Cuenin, Heather Clark, Debbie Reifenstein, Betty Neimi, Pat Yearty, Faye Peters, Donna Rasmussen.
Thanks to Children of All Nations Dance Group for blessing our evening with dance and song, and to Brad Fluetsch for providing his spirited auctioning talents. And to everyone that attended the dinner or placed a bid on a prize, we are so fortunate to have you as our neighbors and friends. Thanks for supporting our program and looking out for our kids!
