A 49-year-old woman was arrested on a charge of domestic violence at 5:01 p.m. Wednesday near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive. She was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
At 1:34 p.m. Wednesday, a woman reported a red Softride woman's bicycle was stolen sometime within the last two weeks from her porch near Blueberry Hills Road. The bike was valued at $1,500.
A cab driver reported a passenger not paying his cab fare at 1:36 a.m. Thursday at Glacier Highway. The amount of the fare was unavailable.
Checks belonging to a 42-year-old man were turned in to Juneau police at 12:42 p.m. Wednesday after they were found near South Seward Street. Police placed the checks in safekeeping pending contact with the owner.
A black-and-pink Huffy girl's 10-speed bicycle was found at 8:17 p.m. Tuesday near South Franklin Street.
Police cited a 21-year-old man on a charge of failing to yield while making a left turn in a 2003 Toyota pickup after an accident at 7:19 p.m. Wednesday at Mendenhall Loop Road and Mendenhall Boulevard. The Toyota collided with a 1990 Subaru Legacy. Damage to the Toyota was estimated at $1,000. Damage to the Subaru was estimated at $5,000.
A 16-year-old woman reported she was involved in an accident with a pickup truck while driving a 1999 Toyota Camry at 9:20 a.m. Thursday at Mendenhall Mall Road and Riverside Drive. No damage estimates were available.
Police cited a 20-year-old man for driving with his license revoked at 10:48 p.m. Wednesday. Police released the driver but impounded the vehicle he was driving.
Police received a report at 10:45 a.m. Thursday of a bear up a tree in the back yard of an Aspen Avenue residence. At 11:44 a.m. Thursday, a bear was reported lying in a Pinewood Drive yard. Other bear sightings were reported at 12:17 p.m. Wednesday near Delta Drive, at 2:05 a.m. Thursday in a trash container near Long Run Drive, at 7:06 a.m. Thursday near Hort Court, at 7:33 a.m. Thursday near Channcie Street and at 11:20 a.m. Thursday near Aspen Avenue.
