Before heading into an interview, you should be sure to do your homework, says Susan Harrow, marketing strategist and media coach. "Think of this encounter as meeting your in-laws," she says. "You would want to know who loves lemon pie and who hates sports, so you would be adored, wouldn't you? Same goes. Learn everything you can about the company, the position and the interviewer before you set foot in the potential employer's office. When the time is right you can ask intelligent questions."
