Airman sentenced for child porn

FAIRBANKS - A 23-year-old Eielson Air Force Base airman was sentenced to a year in military prison for possessing child pornography.
Lt. Frank Hartnett said Jeremy Scott Russell was convicted last week and will be dishonorably discharged.
The head of a statewide cyber crimes task force, Anchorage police Sgt. Ton Tidler, said Russell's computer was seized in 2006 and the case was turned over to the military.
