JUNEAU - The Juneau city clerk's office is now accepting applications to vote by mail and fax in the Oct. 1 city election.
Two Juneau School Board seats, three Juneau Assembly seats and a $15 million bond proposition for harbor upgrades and water and sewer improvements will be on the ballot.
Requests for a mail ballot must be received by the city clerk's office no later than Sept. 24. Fax-ballot requests must be received no later than 5 p.m. Sept. 30. Ballots will be available in mid-September, said City Clerk Laurie Sica.
Absentee voting in person runs weekdays Sept. 16 through Sept. 30 and on Saturday, Sept. 28, at City Hall and the Mendenhall Center.
