Tish Griffin of Juneau and Tom Satre of Juneau will be married in a ceremony planned for 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at La Vita e Bella Cafe in Seattle, Wash. A reception will follow at 1 p.m. at the cafe. Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to the wedding and reception.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Jerry (deceased) and Barbara Griffin. She is employed as director of student services for the University of Alaska Southeast.
The groom-elect is the son of Patricia and John Satre (both deceased). He is employed as a Southeast Manager for Northland Services Inc.
Participating in the ceremony will be the five Satre children; Mike, Tricia, Tim, Jon and Anna; and Tish's daughter Alexandra "Alex." Tish's best friend , Diane Ellingwood, will be the maid of honor. The best man will be Tom's son, Tim Satre. Pastor Steve Olmstead of Chapel by the Lake will perform the marriage ceremony in Seattle.
A reception in Juneau will follow at a later date. The couple will spend their honeymoon in Napa, Calif., touring the wine country. They will make their home in Juneau.
